About Happy Thoughts Agility
Britney's Background
Britney majored Biology, Wildlife Science, and minored in Psychology at Virginia Tech. She then went on to work in marine mammal training and zoo keeping for a few years before she found her passion in dog training.
Britney has extensive national and international accomplishments, some of which include:

2016 WAO Gold Medalist
2017 & 2019 Member of Agility World Championship Team
2019 Agility World Championship placements of 3rd & 7th

As a competitor & instructor, Britney has been successful working with dogs of different breeds and sizes. She's taught handlers and dogs of all experience levels, and loves encouraging newcomers to the sport. She presents different techniques and options based on individual needs, because there is no ​one-size-fits-all​. She believes in every dog and handler she works with, and loves seeing their bond and connection strengthen.
